Details

The “Diverse Pastor´s Project” is a concerted effort of Vineyard USA to encourage and nurture greater ethnic diversity within the Vineyard movement by identifying and developing ethnic minority leaders who are considering pastoral leadership in Vineyard churches throughout the United States.

As a part of this effort, Steve Nicholson, Director of the Vineyard’s Church Planting Task Force, and the Ethnic Diversity Task Force are planning a leadership event specifically for ethnic minorities serving as leaders in their churches. This meeting will be at Steve Nicholson's church in Evanston, IL, at the Vineyard Church of Evanston on Friday-Saturday, August 28-29, 2009.

Talks, discussions and Q&A sessions will be geared toward recognizing and following a call to be a pastor, what it is like to be an ethnic minority within the Vineyard and how we can lead our churches into greater ethnic diversity. This event is also a wonderful opportunity to develop new relationships.

The registration cost of $50 will include two lunches. Some scholarship help is available -- please contact Le Que or Kim Heidkamp for additional information about scholarships.
